The limited availability of primary energy resources as well as the increasing global demand for energy conservation continue to accelerate the search for renewable sources of energy. The burning of fossil fuels causes environmental pollution and contributes to global warming.
Increased efficiency in energy production and industrial processes are urgently needed to conserve limited valuable resources. By developing thermoelectric generators, PSI Technics significantly contributes to the preservation of those resources. Thermoelectric generators could play a vital role in producing clean energy or converting resources to clean energy in the future.
Thermoelectric generators are solid-state modules that operate without moving parts and are, thus, extremely reliable. They directly convert waste heat into electrical power, allowing for the efficient use of radiant heat generated by industrial processes, simultaneously relieving environmental impact at the same time.
The practical use thermoelectric generators is at present still in pilot stage.
