THERMO PROTECTION COOLING CASE PROTECTS SENSITIVE SENSORS IN HIGH TEMPERATURE ENVIRONMENTS
The innovative Thermo Protection Cooling Case ideally protects sensitive optical sensors, such as laser distance sensors or optical data transfer systems, from high temperatures or extreme temperature variations. Protected by the TPCC, optical sensors can now be used in environments, where high temperatures and radiant heat previously either prevented the use or significantly reduced the life span of optical sensors.

The Thermo Protection Cooling Case (TPCC), developed by PSI Technics, is a completely new industrial enclosure designed to protect temperature-sensitive sensors. PSI Technics was awarded the "Innovationspreis Success" (Innovation Success Award) by the Investitions- und Strukturbank Rheinland-Pfalz (ISB) for developing the TPCC.

The TPCC enables the reliable use of laser diodes, electronic components, optical data transfer systems and other temperature-sensitive sensors at temperatures of up to 176°F (+80°C), which occur, for example, in iron and steel production facilities.

The housing is made of advanced fiber composite material that provides excellent insulation properties. Thermoelectric cooling controls the temperature inside the housing, significantly increasing diode performance of laser systems and ensuring precise measurements while avoiding cost-intensive maintenance or repairs and production downtimes.
