Project Brief: Positioning system modernization and optimization of five stacker cranes and three shuttle cars that are used for storage and retrieval in the client's central European warehouse for care spare parts.

BMW Group Relies on PSI Technics' TPCC Sensor Cooling Technology

The aluminum's high heat radiation at a BMW factory causes environmental temperatures to rise to up to 176°F (80°C) which led to disruptions of fill-level monitoring sensors in the foundry's casting process, particularly during the summer months.

The Thermo Protection Cooling Case (TPCC) now expands the sensors' application range, ensures accurate readings and considerably extends usable sensor life.
