PT Pindo Deli Pulp & Paper Mills
Modernization of the traveling axis positioning system of two bridge cranes in an automated paper roll warehouse operated by the biggest Indonesian paper producer. Travel profiles were optimized by eliminating oscillations as well as creeping speeds. The ARATEC® Positioning Solution System and the FLP6000ASC Advanced Skew Control system were installed. No modifications to existing hardware, such as SPS, safety-related technology or motors, were required. New, cutting-edge laser distance meters were installed in combination with PSI Technics' TPCC® Thermo Protection Cooling Cases to prevent the sensors from overheating in the summer months.

Deutsche Bahn AG
PSI Technics' engineers developed the camera-based roof inspection system to enable automated, condition-based maintenance for multiple-unit high-speed trains. The system records roof damages of any train that passes below the system, for example, when it enters a depot or drives through a dedicated "inspection tunnel".

A client specializing in bearings, bearing units, seals, mechatronics, services and lubrication systems in Oklahoma, USA "Baker Line" Project
An existing pick-and-place machine in a coating plant, referred to as the Baker Line, was upgraded from a discontinued ICS500L system to PSI Technics' ARATEC® Positioning Solution System. PSI Technics' Thermo Protection Cooling Case (TPCC®) was installed to protect a SICK DME5000 distance meter from high environmental temperatures of up to 122°F (+50°C).

The successful cooperation was aimed at developing a new positioning standard for similar vertical lifting systems.

Volkswagen AG
2D/3D SMART camera system for inspecting trolley wheels in Power & Free conveyors (overhead rail chain conveyor) prevents disruptions. The System analyzes the wheels of chain-driven trolleys that are passing through the assembly line to automatically reroute the defective trolley to a service track for repairs. Installation within a few hours during a planned production-free maintenance period.

The aluminum's high heat radiation causes environmental temperatures to rise to up to 176°F (80°C) which led to disruptions of fill-level monitoring in the foundry's casting process, particularly during the summer months. Modernization and optimization of a 1995 high-bay warehouse and stacker cranes. The new positioning system ARATEC was installed and commissioned and a total of 14 Trimble TCS4000 units were replaced. Instead of the previously installed 14 TCS4000 units (one unit per axis) only 7 ARATEC units were needed for the 14 stacker crane axes after the modernization.
