The World's Leading QA Trade Fair Shows a Market in Transition
The quality assurance market is changing. Control – the International Trade Fair for Quality Assurance that took place May 7-10 in Stuttgart, Germany – provided visitors with an overview of the scope and the technologies that are the driving force behind this change. The trade fair showcased the latest technologies from 871 exhibitors in 8 different exhibition halls.
The optimization of quality assurance processes poses an ongoing challenge for companies in all industries. At our trade show booth, we presented our latest technologies that promise significant process control improvements. In addition to our hyperspectral imaging, visitors were able to put our photometric stereo system to the test at our booth. Since quality assurance requirements vary by industry, PSI Technics customizes each camera-based QC system to specific industry demands and develops unique customer-based solutions.

Inline Control System Ensures Process Reliability at US Car Manufacturing Plant
Thanks to PSI Technics' Inline Control System, a Japanese Car Manufacturer in the US is able to proactively inspect conveyor system trolley wheels during the car manufacturing process. The system reduces unexpected production downtimes by ensuring that misalignments are detected early on and defective wheels and bearings can be replaced before failures or downtimes occur.
The Inline Control's 3D camera system inspects the conveyor's trolley wheels, saves images and IDs of defective wheels and sends warning messages to the client's maintenance crew when it detects any deviations or defects.
The system has been tailored to the client's production requirements and enables them to proactively prevent costly production downtimes. PSI Technics' Inline Control System permanently monitors the conveyor system's trolley wheels to ensure that material fatigue can be promptly addressed. The system also includes web-based data processing to enable long-term process analyses.

Cut Costs with PSI Technics' Sensor Protection Case
Invest in the future – with PSI Technic's Thermo Protection Cooling Case (TPCC). It helps prevent sensor failures and related production interferences due to excessive heat, cold, weather conditions and dust and extends the lifespan of sensitive sensors.
The TPCC provides a combined heating and cooling feature. Heating/cooling is activated based on the ambient temperature range and keeps sensitive sensors in environments with significant temperature fluctuations at a constant temperature level.
We customize every TPCC for a particular sensor type to tailor it to our clients' needs. The TPCC protects a wide variety of industrial sensors from renowned companies, such as SICK (e.g., DL100 sensors), Pepperl+Fuchs (e.g. VDM28 sensors) and Leuze. It opens up unprecedented application possibilities in areas where ambient temperatures and radiant heat frequently prevented the use of modern optical sensors.
