Project Description:

Replacing Trimble ICS5000L and Advanced Skew Control (ASC) units with the ARATEC Positioning Solution System, including the FLP6000ASC Advanced Skew Control to expand the system to support three axes as well as installing the TPCC Thermo Protection Cooling Case.
Project Duration: Less than one week.

It is part of Lehigh Hanson, Inc., a member of the Heidelberg Cement Group and one of North America's largest suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry.

Project Scope:

• Replacing three Trimble ICS units with a single ARATEC supporting 3 axes
• Simplified system structure due to the modular hardware configuration of the ARATEC Positioning Solution System
• The FLP6000ASC Advanced Skew Control reduces facility wear and tear
• Sensitive sensors are protected by the TPCC Thermo Protection Cooling Case that extends the life span of sensor diodes
• Position feedback is provided via laser distance meters
• Ethernet-based communication enables remote assistance and the use of additional features
