Industrial Vision Technology – Overview

We use a wide variety of industrial camera systems to achieve perfect QC results. The inspection task ultimately determines, which technology will be best suited for your application.

2D camera systems, for example, are used to check for the physical presence of objects and to detect patterns and codes. Brightness differences in the digital image are used detect surface defects during quality control.

3D camera systems enable the analysis of three-dimensional data and create point clouds of inspected objects. Height differences between the points in the point cloud are used to analyze the object's surface.

Hyperspectral imaging is a revolutionary technology that opens up unprecedented application possibilities. Hyperspectral imaging is used to detect material properties that are invisible to the human eye. Even materials that look virtually identical are clearly identified and classified based on their spectral signature.
